Aerotowing is one of the methods we use to get you airborne.

Let the aerotow take you and your pilot up to
2500 feet for that perfect birthday, anniversary
or always-wanted-to-try-it occasion.
We fly tandem out of Teviotdale, ON (35 minutes West
of Orangeville). Advance booking is required.

The towing winch can be thought of as a portable slope. Where hills are not
available, the winch allows the flexibility to tow in any direction, and any
height, from 10 to 3000 ft. Only poor weather conditions can put a damper on
flying.
After mastering the basic ground-handling techniques, you are ready for your
first tow. It only requires a few running "moon" steps and you are airborne.
Kept low and parallel to the ground you practise basic flying manoeuvers. As
comfort level and ability improve, towing height is increased to permit gentle
turns combined with stand-up landings.
