Sally is an actor and director with an MA and PhD in Drama. For ten years she was the Producer and Artistic Director of Rasik Arts, the first English-speaking theatre company in Canada to devote itself to South Asian plays, winning two Dora Awards and four Dora Nominations. In 2009 she was one of three finalists for the Mayor of Toronto's Arts Awards for Cultural Leadership. She's taught acting in places as diverse as Mississauga, Queen's University (Kingston ON) and the University of Alaska in Anchorage, and traveled to India eight times. Introduced to improv in 2010 at the Impatient Theatre Company, she says, "Improv is like Life....I never know what will happen next."
